CEWEFIA trains women in fishing communities with supplementary skills.

CEWEFIA under the European Union-Funded WiFVEs project is transforming lives through skill empowerment. CEWEFIA took the lead in empowering individuals at the project communities in the Central Region and Western Region through dynamic vocational training programs.

Focused on Business Development, Financial Management, Hygienic Fish Handling, our short-term vocational skills is making waves. This initiative particularly targets victims and those at risk of Gender-Based Violence(GBV), providing them with tools for economic independence.

Meet the inspiring participants at the CEWEFIA Fish Processing Center who undertook the Baking and Confectionary option of the Short-Term Vocational Training and Set-Up. They are now equipped with skills in bread-making, meat pies, chips, spring rolls, and many more. They are now entrepreneurs in the making as they were also given start-up materials to apply their acquired skills.

Join us in building self-sufficiency, breaking the chains of oppression, and creating a future where everyone can thrive!
