Gender Equity
Promoting gender equity is central to Cewefia’s mission. The organization challenges deeply rooted cultural norms and practices that perpetuate gender inequality, particularly in agriculture, fisheries, and entrepreneurship. Cewefia ensures that women and girls are free from GBV and VAWG and they are empowered to participate equally in decision-making and economic opportunities, fostering inclusive development.
