Nicholas Smith holds a master’s degree in project management and a first degree in French. Nicholas has worked with CEWEFIA for about twenty-four (24) years and he has over the years received training in Advocacy, Communication, Leadership, Report and Proposal Writing, Women and Child Issues etc. He has gained a lot of experience in modern trends of awareness creation and creates awareness efficiently and effectively of Women and Child Rights, Human Rights, Reproductive Health Rights, Natural Resources Management and Conservation, Population- Health- Environment Issues, HIV/AIDS Prevention, Sanitation, Agric. And Fisheries Post- Harvest Value Chain Improvements, Prevention of Gender-Based Violence, Child Labor and Trafficking etc. He also has rich experience in local governance, democracy and citizen participation in service delivery accountability. Membership in Professional Societies: Ghana Private Voluntary Organizations in Development (GAPVOD), Western Region Network of NGOs (WERENGO), West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI), Ghana Education Campaign Coalition (GNECC), Coalition of NGOs Against Child Trafficking (CNACT), Fisheries Alliance, CSOs in Fisheries, Community of Practice etc.
