Victoria Churchill Koomson (Mrs.) is a retired Educationist who has taught in several basic schools in the Central and Western Regions of Ghana for 28 years (1966 – 1984). She was a circuit supervisor for basic schools for nine (9) years (1984 – 1993) and a head teacher for basic schools for eight (8) years (1993 – 2001). In 1993, Victoria Churchill Koomson was elected as a Council member for the Ghana Association for Voluntary Organization in Development; an umbrella Organization for all NGOs in Ghana.
Mrs. Koomson has over thirty years of professional experience in working with women in coastal and rural communities in Ghana, particularly, the Central, Volta and Western Regions. She has managed several projects ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 1,000,000 and worked with donors such as USAID, DFID, ASHOKA UK Trust, BUSAC Fund STAR-Ghana, European Union, Democracy International and among others.
In 2014, under her administration for the 5-year USAID-funded Sustainable Fisheries Management Project (SFMP), CEWEFIA was adjudged the most responsive USAID/ SFMP Partner in compliance, monitoring, and evaluation.
